Spring It ON!
Spring It ON!
Olympia is busy with ongoing legislation -
HB 1299 – a bill that will lower the B&O tax rate for lodging and restaurants is scheduled for a public hearing tomorrow Tuesday, February 16, at 8:00am. Rep. Mike Chapman is one of the bill sponsors. The bill is priority legislation for the Washington Hospitality Association, in an effort to support the heavily impacted hospitality industry. If you view this as beneficial to your business (or your members' businesses, Chambers), you may wish to take a moment to sign in PRO on this legislation here. This simply registers your position for the record and is helpful in showing support for our partners at the WA Hospitality Association. You can watch the hearing here starting at 8:00am.
